Why should I become a member of Momentum?
Momentum is a network of over 20,000 members, 150 local groups and 200,000 supporters who are committed to electing a Labour Government and building a fair society that leaves no one behind.
Joining Momentum enables you to attend meetings and take part in grassroots campaigns alongside other activists, building a movement with a positive vision for a transformed society.
Who is eligible for Momentum membership?
Anyone is eligible for Momentum membership provided they meet the following criteria:
Support the objectives of Momentum;
Adhere to the code of ethics;
Are either a member of the Labour Party, an affiliate supporter or support the aims and values of the Labour Party and are not members of other political parties.
What does membership allow me to do?
Being a Momentum member allows you to do the following:
Attend local group organisational meetings as well as public meetings;
Vote in local group and regional meetings;
Stand for key positions in local groups;
Vote in national-level elections.

How do I find my local group?
Check the Momentum Groups Map to see if there are any groups local to you.
What do I if there is no local group near me?
If there isn’t a group near you, and you would like to set one up, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to request a group set-up.
How do I notify Momentum’s National Office of a change in key contacts/delegates/social media managers/data managers?
Email email@example.com with the full name, contact number and email address of the person/ people taking up the new positions.
