Momentum Hastings meeting

Are you interested in what is happening in primary, secondary, further and higher education, worried about library closures, anxious about privatisation of education, class sizes & endless testing or teachers’ pay and conditions?
Come to our Momentum Public Meeting with guest speaker, Alan Gibbons.

The business part of the meeting will start earlier than usual, at 6.45pm prompt until 7pm. This short pre-meeting is for Momentum, Labour and Trade Union members only.
Public Meeting: Speaker: ALAN GIBBONS - author, campaigner and teacher, Alan is the winner of the Fred Jarvis Award for Services to Education given at this year’s NUT Conference. He is the founder of the Campaign for the Book, part of the ‘Speak Up for Libraries’ coalition. He also instigated National Libraries Day. We are extremely grateful to Alan for breaking into his heavy schedule especially to talk to us.
