We can’t leave the negotiations with Europe to the Tories - Barnet Public Meeting

In the crisis following the EU referendum, we need to unite against the Tories, campaign against their austerity plans and defend Labour Party democracy.  We need a united Labour Party but many of our representatives in Parliament have been working to undermine Jeremy Corbyn’s leadership for months. MPs are clearly not respecting his overwhelming mandate from the party members.

We also need to debate why, despite the fact that 64 per cent of Labour voters voted ‘Remain’, ‘Leave’ won - and how we can stop the rise in racism in the wake of the referendum.

This meeting is a public invitation to those in Barnet who are opposed to the moves against Jeremy Corbyn. Let’s tell Labour MPs to respect the mandate of our democratically elected leader and to ensure that his agenda of radical, democratic, socialist, anti-austerity politics is not silenced at this urgent time.

Come and join us to discuss how we can work together to ensure a progressive response to the current political crisis.
