What next for Labour and the left?

It has been an extraordinary few months for the Labour Party and Jeremy Corbyn, from being over 20 points behind in the polls, to gaining seats for the first time in 20 years and now leading the tories by 5 points in the polls. We saw tens of thousands taking to the streets to hear Jeremy’s vision for Britain and canvassers in numbers that the Labour party hasn’t seen for decades.

It has certainly been exciting, and Jeremy has silenced his critics, but we aren’t in government yet. Join us as we discuss ‘What next for Labour and the left?’ 

Speakers include: the newly elected MP for Leeds North West, Alex Sobel; Shadow Justice Minister Richard Burgon MP; author, lecturer and anti-racisim campaigner Dr Katy Sian; and local Labour activist and campaigner Jessica Lennox.

The event will be chaired by veteran Labour Party campainger and trade union activist Luke Farley.
